Welcoming our new CEO: Jamie Morris!

We're excited to announce some fantastic news today! Our search for a new CEO has come to an end, and we're thrilled to introduce Jamie Morris as the newest addition to our team at Chester Students' Union, starting from Monday 18th March 2024.
Jamie brings a wealth of experience, previously serving as the Head of Student Support at The Hammond School. Many of you may already be familiar with Jamie from his previous role as the Deputy Director of Student Services at the University of Chester.
Throughout the selection process, Jamie stood out for his understanding of our members' needs and his unwavering dedication to putting students first. His background as a former sabbatical officer at Lancaster Students’ Union equips him to understand the pivotal role of a Students’ Union within the university community. We're confident that Jamie's vision, inclusivity, and commitment to our members' success will push CSU to new heights.
CSU President Ellie Smith, on behalf of the Trustee Board, said “We are confident in our selection of Jamie as the new CEO and cannot wait to see him embark on this journey, further improving CSU for its members”.
