SUMMARY OF 2017/18

This year we have had quite a diverse group, including catholics, non catholics and even exchange students with whom we've shared many memories with. A few of our highlights for the year have been trips like Ampleforth where we visited a Benedictine monastery. We have been a little closer to home, visiting Liverpool (attending Embrace) and, Hawarden. When we weren't travelling around, we enjoyed nights like shared table supper where we all joined together with food and wine, themed nights such as christmas quiz, pub quizzes, debate nights and occasional summer walks in and around Chester. On the more religious side of the society, we have organised nights such as 'Prayer and Praise' and 'Chime' which included focusing on our own thoughts and prayers within the chapel and meetings with the nuns of Poor Clare's. Our fundraising included a quiz night and Bake Sale to donate money to CAFOD.
