SUMMARY OF 2017/18
2017/2018 has been a tough year as we have struggled to get enough players till every game, but everyone has done their best and we have played most of the games. We have training once each week where we train to become a better team, better in football, but also become better friends and have fun. Even though we have lost a game, we have still played as a proper team and had fun, which is the most important.
In December available members of our team contributed to the University’s 24/7 charity football game, which is the only charity we have been able to help this year.
In April we helped the University win its first Varsity where we won our game 5-3.
In May we had a kick-around with some old girls, and in the end, we finished our season 6th in the league, but 1st in team effort and friendship.
CHARITY & COMMUNITY
Several girls from the football team contributed to the university’s 24/7 football game.
One of the biggest triumphs throughout 2017/2018 was the ability to play as a team. The effort every single one put into the team was absolutely amazing.
PLANS FOR 2018/19
We are excited for the year ahead where we want to help raise money for charity, but nothing has been 100% planned yet.
