Manifesto aim: SU and Sport and Active lifestyle...

AIM:

  • Establish a closer working relationship regarding booking of facilities, response time of facility issues and provision of coaches

UPDATE:

  • I have been attending weekly meetings with Gordon Reay to discuss how we can improve and increase the opportunities for our students to get active and involved in sport, we are working closley with organising a Pre-Season in terms of staff and facilities. I have been regularly meeting with Kirsty the Active Wellbeing assistant, in the meetings we have arranged for mental wellbeing training to be integrated within the committee training for all our sports and Societies, additionally a wellbeing survey has been included within the new Pre-Season. Additionally, both Gordon and Kirsty are going to be attending a monthly senate where students from Sports and Societies will be in attendance and give them a great opportunity to ask any questions directly.
