Manifesto aim: Gender Neutral toilets...

  • Gender Neutral toilets

  • Gender-neutral toilets have been high on the agenda nationally to ensure each University implements them. Facilities can be used by anyone, regardless of gender, without fear of incident, discrimination or harassment.  Use of gender-neutral toilets is often a positive choice for those with more ambiguous gender presentation or those who do not fit into the rigid categories of looking like a ‘man’ or a ‘woman’. Having gender-neutral toilets ensures that people will not be forced to choose the ‘best option’ toilet instead of one they actually feel comfortable with.

Here is a list of where you will find the current Gender Netural toilets:

Kingsway Kingsway Next to CKW149
Parkgate Road

If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of these changes further, please email: equality@chester.ac.uk

We are still working with the equality office and facilities to get more gender neutral toilets on campus.
