Development Week may have been a quiet week for most students with finishing essays and dissertations but here at Chester Students’ Union we’ve sealed our fourth sponsorship agreement of the academic year with award winning student lifestyle app, Stunii. The app sells itself as the ‘perks of being a student’ with a variety of discounts at restaurants, bars, health, beauty and fitness outlets. The app offers a free standard membership and premium membership for a small, monthly subscription fee.
The arrangement has come around from University of Chester student and Stunii founder, Jordan Tew approaching Chester Students’ Union to provide students with highly competitive local discounts in and around the city of Chester. Jordan noted “I am proud to announce Stunii's exciting new partnership with Chester Students' Union. Not only will students benefit from incredible savings and offers using the Stunii App, in addition, we will pay a monthly commission to the CSU for every single ongoing premium referral. In turn this commission will be reinvested into the Union and its members. This is a win-win partnership for everyone involved!”
Ben France, CSU President was also delighted about the arrangement. “Myself and CSU are glad to have another sponsorship on board with us at the Union, particularly a product that benefits students as much as Stunii has to offer. The city is buzzing with local businesses who are providing fantastic deals to students and Stunii have put it all together in a convenient and stylish app. It is even more satisfying to know that we are working and celebrating our own students here at the University of Chester”.
