CSU have been shortlisted for Students' Union of the Year at the prestigious Educate North Awards.

We join several other University of Chester departments and courses in being shortlisted and are tremendously proud to be nominated alongside Huddersfield, Leeds Trinity, Liverpool Hope and Newcastle in our category.

Our submission was based on the work we have achieved over the last 12 months to January 2018 and can be read here.

CSU President, Cherelle Mitchell was said to be 'buzzing' when she got the news.

"Chester Students' Union are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Educate the North Awards. It's been a challenging yet exciting year with some remarkable wins for and by students."

Of the competition she said "We hope to get the win, but wish all the other Unions the best too! Watch out Educate the North, Chester Students' Union are coming for you"

Thank you to all the students, officers and staff have who contributed to this recognition.
