This year we are partnering up with VIVA Trips to offer educational trips acoss the UK (and beyond). If it’s enjoying the view from Edinburgh Castle or trying on the Sorting Hat at the Harry Potter Studios, you can explore the UK whilst at the University of Chester.

VIVA Trips explores the best sights and attractions the UK has to offer. In the words of Gustace Flaubert, travel makes one modest because you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world. The trips are a great chance to do something different and take a break from deadlines and exams, as well as a brilliant way of making new friends. We are also delighted that the trips will go from Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury campus. Societies will also be able to offer subsidy to members for the trips.

The programme of trips for the first term can be found below.

All the trips will include a coach (bus), trip leader and photographer.

Jack McGovern, Vice President Activities said ' The educational trips will enhance the overall experience of student life; assisting in making new friends, exploring new places and creating new memories all working towards our strategic plan of a happy and healthy students'.

Chester SU are looking forward to offering the trips and you can see Viva Trips at Sports & Societies Fair on Thursday 27th September.

Tickets will go on sale soon!
