We are a group of students who exist to explore, celebrate, and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Doing this while enjoying friendship, food, and coffee!
We're all about:
- Creating a sense of belonging here at the University of Chester
- Promoting continual learning, professional development and networking
- Enabling members to support each other
- Providing a non-judgmental base for discussion of ideas and opinions
- Respecting every member of our own and other societies
- Enriching the experience of students by providing fun, friends, and fellowship

We meet weekly on a Tuesday at 7.30pm to worship, pray and hear from the Bible.
Small Groups: these happen every Monday and Thursday evening during term time. They dig deeper into the Bible and are a great way to get to know other CU members on a deeper level.
As well as this we have Cuppa Café, International Café, Dial-a-donut through the year and MORE!! (check out @uoc_cuppacafe or @chesterunicu on Instagram for more info).
Events and activities that we are organising this year are:
- Freshers’ week
- Weekend away
- Carol service
- Events week
- Socials (ranging from beach trips to Balls)
- Chances to attend a variety of conferences together!
We aren’t a replacement for church; instead, we work alongside local churches and are dedicated to helping students find a local church to which they can belong.
