We know our students have a lot on their plates. Alongside your studies, university is also about personal development; gaining new experiences, meeting new people and uncovering skills you never knew you had. As a member of the SU, you have the opportunity to join any of our affiliated sports and societies which is a great way to meet lots of people, find friends, and make your university experience that little bit more amazing.
For more information about the different clubs and societies, or if you would like to sign up, come and speak to Rachael in the SU Office (next to your common room) or email email@example.com
Another way to get involved is via volunteering which can also enhance your skills and boost your CV.
Most employers recognise the skills that can be gained through voluntary work experience – from organising an event, to carrying out interviews and surveys or even interacting with customers on a daily basis. Stand out from the crowd and do something great, just get in touch if you would like more information.
