The University has its own rules regarding student behaviour and may take action against any student under the disciplinary code if it feels their conduct falls short of the required standard. The University is able to investigate any student’s conduct in order to check whether a student is guilty of a disciplinary offence.
If the University feels that the evidence they have requires further investigation a student could be required to attend a meeting with the University to discuss this. This will be an opportunity to have your say on events and then the University will be able to decide on a course of action. The Students’ Union can support you through this process but you may also find useful information in the leaflet here.
