Welcome to the University of Chester Squash page. UoC squash is a fast growing sports team at the University of Chester, entering two men’s teams and a Women’s team into BUCs competitions in 2018. As well as having many opportunities to compete at regional levels for the university we offer many recreational opportunities for those not wishing to take part including round robin style interclub matches and dedicating Saturday training sessions to specifically matches
UoC Squash train three times a week, one day of which we hope to be ran by an experienced, qualified coach, giving players the opportunity to develop their skills and improve their squash ability.
If you are considering picking up a new sport, then squash should be at the top of your consideration list. This is because UoC squash a tight knit friendly group of people who are both passionate about squash and up for having a good time both on and off the court, there are also a variety of abilities in UoC squash varying from those who have picked up a racket for their first time less than a year ago to those who have represented squash at a national level.
Squash Is dedicated to putting on a social every Wednesday and with the introduction of our new social sec, Kieran, we are looking forward to all his ideas he can bring to the society. The traditional route is passing a few of the local bars and pubs before finishing off at Rosies
