Welcome to the homepage for the University of Chester Women's Hockey Club!
This season we have three teams (1st, 2nd and 3rd) with two of these (1st and 2nd teams) competing in the BUC's league. Last season, our 1st team was undefeated and as a result were promoted and our 2s finished third in their league and are on the hunt for promotion this 2018/19 season! If you are new to the sport or are just looking for a friendly knockabout then our 3rd team is perfect for you with them getting involved in inter-club games and some friendly games with other uni teams. We're looking for players to fill up all three of these teams so we'd love to see you at our training sessions!
We also have a close link to the local Chester City Hockey Club which is great if you're interested in getting even more game time or going to more training sessions.
We love our club and if you join us we would like to share our passion for this sport with you whilst you get the benefits of getting fit, meeting new people and getting to know everyone extremely well.
If you are interested in playing a team sport in a friendly environment, making friendships that will last beyond your time at Chester and having fun then hockey is the perfect sport for you! Also, don't forget to check out our social media pages and please don't be afraid to get in contact with our committee members!
See you in September!
