Common Sense Innit (CSI)

Common Sense Innit (CSI) is a campaign run by Chester Students’ Union. We work closely with a number of local organisations such as the police and local council to help improve student safety and general living for students and local residents.

The CSI Campaign helps show the Chester area that by taking a number of simple, yet sometimes over looked steps, people can help prevent themselves from falling victim to crime or easily avoidable mishaps.

From this part of the CSI webpage you can follow the links on the right hand side to the latest information and crime figures for the local university area (Garden Quarter) and read real life accounts from those who have been affected by crime in the recent months. We do not aim to scare monger, but rather disperse the myth and thought that “it won’t happen to me!” Hopefully CSI will teach you to think twice about leaving your window open while you “just pop to Onestop!” or leaving your back door unlocked when your upstairs!
