Snowsports Or No Sports!

Welcome to the homepage for the University of Chester’s Snow Sports society; UOC Snow. We are a society formed by students and host the largest student ran trip at the University, taking upwards of 80 students to Europe for a ski holiday you’ll never forget! We run regular training sessions at Stoke dry slope and Chill Factore in Manchester for people of all abilities, from those who will be putting ski’s on for the first time, to those who have skied since the age of 2. It is possible for anyone to compete for UOC Snow this year as we will be entering BUDS and KINGS. As well as the official competitions, we host the ABC games; a competition created last year, which sees Aberystwyth, Bangor and Chester come head to head in this inter-university battle of the best. We are very passionate about the club and hope that you will join us and share the journey of Snow Sports with us. Stay Gnarly.

During 2015/16, we competed at BUDS and KINGS, in which we finished in the top 50. We raised £150 for charity trough social events which we ran, however, have much bigger ideas and plans for the 16/17 year. This year, we hope to build on the success of competitions last year and we aim to raise £500 for our charity; ski4cancer.
