As part of our efforts to reduce Carbon Emissions, we strongly encourage you to travel to us using public transport wherever possible.

 

Warrington By Rail

InterCity to Warrington (Bank Quay). London to Warrington takes 2 hours, Birmingham 1 hour, Glasgow 3 hours, Preston 25 minutes. Manchester /Liverpool trains stop at Birchwood, Padgate and Warrington (Central). Taxis are available from outside the station and cost approximately £6/7. The nearest rail station is Birchwood, approximately 20 minutes walking distance.

 

Chester By Rail

Chester is well served by the railway network and has frequent, fast rail links to London and major cities in the UK. Journey times are: London 2hrs 10mins, Birmingham 1hr 45mins, Manchester 1hr. Liverpool city is approximately 40mins away and there are four trains an hour between Liverpool and Chester. CSU is twenty minutes’ walk from Chester Railway Station, and a taxi will cost approximately £3.50. A free bus service runs at regular intervals between the Railway Station and Chester City Centre. Our Campus is only ten minutes’ walk from the city centre.

Chester campus is right next to the cycle path, and canal towpath.
